Well it's been quite a journey over the last 3 months. I've gone from simple a 50p and £2 collector to a gold prospector of £25 and £100 coins. I've discovered my niche and direction and have already built up quite a nice little collection of 2 1/2oz gold. I won't tell you how much I spent but where possible I've focused on commemorative proof coins under 10% above spot, with a couple of (cough cough) exceptions.
As means of a thank you to all you fantastic people on TSF I would just like to share my collection with you. Thank you! 😁

Got in a few of some high premium "why did you pay that much per gram of silver" kind of coins just in. These are for my personal collection, some potentially being sent to grading! What do you think @GoldDiggerDave?

For those who are curious, the average cost/price per gram of silver on these is £32.65 (or 56x spot)! 😲

These are the MAX mintages from my research:
- 2oz matte proof: 106
- 1oz reverse proof: 200 (this is presentation; not sure about max mintage, someone with the box might know)
- 2oz regular proof: 306
- 1oz regular proof: 685

This is not the coin I expected but you can't fight destiny. I'm pleasantly surprised and the proud new owner of 95/210 minted of The King of Coins. So happy with this

The chap I bought it from hadn't even heard about this particular 'frosted' reverse proof variant and acquired 2. He was suddenly inundated with loads of enquiries after listing it on Bookface. I invited him to join us on TSF, he is a rather renowned and prolific gold coin dealer in the south west.
