With regards to Precious Metals: Learn more. I only started this journey in October so i've still got a lot to learn but I have come to the right place. I'd love to buy my first bit of gold, but that may be a more longterm goal!

If using GoogleSheets you can use the following function to live track the spot price for gold: For silver, change the first '2' to a 3. For platinum change that 2 for a 4. These prices will be in GBP. For USD, change the last '2' to a 3, for Euro swap that 2 for a 4. It should work in newer versions of Excel too (older ones didn't support live stock prices), but I can't guarantee it.

I was hoping these would be released in 1oz bullion form, as opposed to proof. A shame, still saves me spending money I suppose!

Lots of interesting thoughts in this thread, I'm not OP but like OP I'm a newbie looking to learn so threads like this are very useful. When it comes to sovereigns, would one be OK purchasing present-day coins, or would I be looking more towards those from the past? Likewise is one better served going for the full coin over the fractionals (1/4, 1/2 etc). I'm sure the premium on the fractionals is likely to be higher, so that is something for me to bare in mind. Thanks all for sharing your knowledge!

I'm not OP but thank you for this! I've been considering starting collecting the Tudor Beasts but wasn't able to find the Panther anywhere so I figured I had missed the boat; I didn't realise it had only been released in proof form. Maybe I will start getting them after all...🤔

Ordered this 2023 Coronation Britannia from Silver Trader yesterday lunchtime in order to round out the set, and much to my surprise it arrived by 11:00 this morning. Looks to be in much better condition than my other Britannias which is an added bonus.

My first two Britannia's. Not exactly pristine, the QEII especially, but given the quality issues at RM I don't think I can complain too much. Photographing coins is much harder than I'd anticipated, I've a lot to learn!

Silver Trader now has them in stock. Was eyeing some up myself on my lunch break.

Received my first Britannia's today, both the QEII and KCIII 2023 editions. Will aim to get some better photos later in the week.

2023 Wombat 1oz silver - Perth Mint I couldn't find a general 'Australian coin' thread, so I'm posting it here, apologies if it's the wrong thread. Unfortunately when I picked my camera up I discovered my batteries where completely flat so I had to make do with my phone. The glossy nature of it meant reflections where a challenge!
