  1. Thanks, I like to look for these things closer to home (UK) i dont have an issue with buying from overseas especially if i like it, its just as a hobby thing to spice things up a bit so stacking isnt really some key objective for me, just something to look at in my down time ha, quite like them Durga rounds. Just wondering, is there other go to sites like silvertrader for artsy rounds?, UK Based btw.
  2. Im looking at coin designs and im trying to search for something, Like we have Britannia and the historic art there, and then the queens of england, on the reverse of most coins, but other than searching for germania rounds, is there more kinda artsy style human / myths / godesses / folklore legends, too many of them are animals and much of the mythical ones are quite dull IMO, like to me i get the perspective that its some soft novel from the amazon kindle store or something where as germania rounds give you an image that its telling you a story, they just hit different if you know what im saying? Just kinda want some variance and most rounds dont really speak to me with all the animals and what not on but i do like the dragons and stuff, kinda think its cute if you find other rounds with different types of fish on or something like it were a little knowledge fact embedded onto the coin so you will probably never forget it and may well give you the slightest better chance of winning a pub quiz or something.
  3. Thanks all, yeah so from my side im trying to balance getting stacks and pay my debt i have enough spare cash to invest, but its more the fact that if i just focus on being debt free then ill be able to get more stacks anyway. Even on that front, it gives me a reason to do overtime at work ha.
  4. With the recent gold dip, i got a "best value" full sovereign, I just wanted to get one if possible before xmas as i still figure out a plan for what im actually chasing next year. I would take pics but i dont feel its required, but its a 2022 QEII the design i quite like actually even though im not fussed overall, looks like its new, not a single mark on the thing or wear of any sort, i was expecting something used so i could put my grubby mitts on it and play heads or tails. The weirdest thing though, I actually feel something that i have one now, It just feels good to own heh.
  5. Thanks all for some great insight into this world, Also, I have been looking at sov's anyway, just seems the ideal way to go when trying to keep cash in your pocket whilst also potentially accumilating wealth. Not gonna say im firm on the history of the 15.1 rule, a lot of my logic is if the industries are using something, the cost will go up for whatever the latest consumer craze is, and with precious metals they are all finite at the end of the day, especially with the case of silver usage as of recent though as the deposit scouting has probably got an increased cost of 30% across the board due to everything else being more expensive since 2020, but what do i know? heh A lot of my processes are trying to gather a plan that fits me, and its ideal to do that monthly, i want to kick something nice off for 2024 and just see where it leads me tbh, and boy do i love planning things.
  6. Straight up, im new to this, i dont know what to expect, but one thing is for sure, from the bits of information i found about the silver market and the manipulation, it does not add up and it kinda puts me in an alarming state of thinking "something isnt right, how can this happen" The 15:1 rule, the fact that silver is a metal that is used in producing goods in general, and has fantastic properties for modern electrical goods that are often consumerist junk that gets binned within the year. Whilst im sure many people have a vast knowlege of information here and i like to learn about it, i like to see how its seen across the board with a general outlook, as back 10 years ago the typical attitude towards silver was "oh its just the cheaper metal" but of course times have changed and now i see this cute cultist like art movement with many custom rounds that look amazing and people a generation younger than myself actively getting into silver because practically anyone in the world can tell you the economy is a mess. And ill like to state, as of right now im treating this as a hobby, i dont expect to buy tons of silver in the future to expect me to be rich within the year, if anything my view is just get things i like, because if times become tougher than they already are ill at least have a melt value to look on to give me some spare change in my pocket if needs be.
  7. Hi, I just find it funny how i went from a game collecting hobby to now putting that money into.... money? I dont know exactly where i am at, I have a fair vision of the market already the what to expect and all that stuff, but i do need to learn more. Heavily interested in bullion, preferbaly bars, and i just generally like the sheen of silver, I see a lot of these "art peices" in the silver world that i find amazing as well. How deep will i go into the depths of stacking and all that? I have no idea, just a new hobby really that if i lost money it would just be a minimal amount really compared to other things one can do in life
