  1. Silver has been put on the knee and getting a gentle smack on the bottom. Let's hope later the belt doesn't come out
  2. This was a good deal, Two proof Maklouf Half and Full all at bullion prices. I wonder who got it🤣 https://atkinsonsbullion.com/gold/gold-coins/gold-sovereign-coins/pre-owned-uk-queen-elizabeth-ii-royal-portrait-gold-7-coin-collection
  3. I have not been to a boot sale in years. Use to enjoy. Would often buy good quality hand tools . No longer looking for those as no longer in the trade. No good boot sales in the Hastings area. One is further away but all I hear is problems with traffic and parking, so can not be bothered. In all the years, never ever saw a sovereign or ounce of silver on sale. One year a friend of mine was going to sell, so I went along and brought some of my stuff and sold it all. I guess I under priced it, but at least I did have to take it back. Sold half of my stuff before the main crowds arrived. Other dealers were like hawks buying off me straight away.
  4. You might get the same price if you just post them to Gerralds Bullion
  5. Especially when the country has been under sanctions and can not get parts to carry out any repairs if needed.
  6. No, it is copper with some gold added😂
  7. On half, I will always double the price and decide. Do I think £32 over spot (sovereign) is a good deal, I would say not so I do not buy.
  8. If the 1827 was priced the same a few £ over spot, regardless how much wear is on it, go buy it, stick it on eBay and buy yourself a nicer coins and make some profit in the outcome
  9. Have you checked to see if the name badge is silver?
  10. That is the problem, they can not test jewellery unless in bar size at least 22ct. Can not understand why they can not adapt the machine to test 9ct upwards
  11. This could be a coin @cliveb13might go for
  12. This must be one of reason why you were asking for new investment ideas a few month ago to probably get out of selling on here (or if forced to). I remember a similar thing happening to Presley when he worked a way to sell cheap silver and he got hounded out. I know he case was slightly different as he had be previously been a banned member under a different name.
  13. To start it off. I will list 25 Britannia for £30 each, you will buy them , what do you say. You will then go and sell them for £30.50 and eventually the minimum price will be £30 oz. I am sure all the silver holders will be happy. For this to work I have to list 1st and you must them🙂
  14. No, I have never looked at Royal Mint auctions so would not know. I am surprised that others haven't posted yet.
  15. You should buy yourself Spinks book ''Coins of England and UK pre decimal. Will give you plenty of information and prices. You do not need the latest version as earlier like 2019 will still give you enough information or what coins are worth something and not so much others. Look on ebay or amazon for a second hand copy for about £10
  16. @Coverte Hasn't been seen for awhile, but he used to get jewellery sometimes Some members here are in buying and selling groups on marketplace (Not me) if you let us know your budget and length of bracelet you require, I will look out for you. I know you want about 60-70g
  17. Well I have been holding for quite a few years. Have been selling down in batches of 5kg at £50 interval from £700 kg. When It drops to £550 to £600, I start buying back again. Just another 5kg left to sell. Commission cost less than posting a coin worth more than £1000
  18. £774 kg. Got a sell order at £800.
  19. Let me get this correct, you want 2 sovereign and you will pay £80 for a fair swap. Most of my Sovereigns are in London or I would have done the swap. With me only have 1911s and 1918c and I am not swapping those two coins. If you can post for £800, I will take it. Will cost £20 to replace the capsule, can not cope with scratched capsules.
  20. James, you have sold so many coins to different members over the last year, that now I am seeing one of you ex coin up for sale every other day. Don't members know '' a puppy is for life and not just for Christmas''. In a couple weeks, you'll be selling this coin for £1900+. Just noticed that it is now sold.
  21. That is a nice coin. The video helps as without it, it looks like there are marks on the queens neck. The video shows that it is perfect. What are you looking at for gold swap?
  22. Jonblyth would only have received about £1100 after fees. He also has a very large following thus his sales get better prices than other sellers. You just have to see what the bid was on his pf63 1989 Sovereign last week. It went for the same money a pf69 was sold on this forum by Thomast.
  23. This evening, it is 50% silver sales. Plenty of choice for those after these type of silver coins for stacking.
  24. It might be useful to state what you mean by chucky. Are you after something Mr T would wear or something more in the 20-30g? I remember having one last year and there were no interest and in the end went to the dealers. Used the cash to buy coins instead.
