Should easily get £1200+. Bag it up and also protect the slab, the amount of scratched slabs I have seen is beyond a joke. Can not understand why people get a coin slabbed and then start using the slab as a ice hockey puck.

To make it a straight swap, you should be getting 17 Gillicks for 4oz of gold. If he offers 16, than you are losing. If he gives you 17 I would take it without hesitation. Take all the 57, 62,64,65 he has and then move on to the Machin( 70's)

Let me guess, all you guys cheering gold to rise all the time, have bought all the gold you ever want. Unless no one wants to buy another sovereign, I can not see this fascination with wanting gold to go up all the time. I want to buy 5 sovereign for £2000, how am going to get that if it keeps going up. By the way I do want 5 sovereigns so if anyone is selling for £2k, let me know.

Reading what they wrote, 10 have been found since it came out that there was this mistake by the mint.

Swapping 4 sovereigns for 1oz gold was a clever way to get extra gold and increase your investment. Looking at atkinsons, today buy back price 4x sovereign at £446= £1784 1oz Britannia= £1881 so almost £100 better off.

Plenty of silver was listed at £25 oz today. £2.50 over spot is nothing, buying from Europe will not be cheaper. Some kg bars were sold for £700 a few days ago.

I would not bother, you are more likely to get it cheaper off this forum. Your best bet is to pay a £1 and sign up to a month silver membership. you will get to see all the listings instantly rather then having to wait three days
