steve3jant got a reaction from Muncle in (Reduced) South Korean Silver 2oz Stackers - Sun Stone and Henry II Shield - KOMSCO
I am in the process of thinning out my silver stack as I would prefer to concentrate on silver semi-numismatic coins.
Therefore, I have reluctantly decided to sell a couple of my silver stackers that are now surplus to requirement. They are:
1) Aztec Sun Stone
The obverse and the reverse of these 2oz Aztec Sun Stone Silver Stackers feature the same design. The obverse is convex while the reverse is concaved to allow for stacking. The design itself consists of a beautiful replication of the original Aztec Sun Stone. In the middle of the design, there is a solar deity many believe to be Tonatiuh.
Surrounding this image are four blocks, which represent the previous four eras, or suns, of Aztec cosmology. At the time this stone was designed, the Aztecs believed they were in the fifth and final era of humankind. A ring wraps around these blocks with images from the Aztec solar calendar. This ring is accompanied by arrows pointing in the four cardinal directions.
2) Henry II Shield
The Shield of Henry II de France Silver Stacker is one of the most beautiful bullion issues of 2022, a shaped medallion featuring high-relief artwork and a light antique finish.
The obverse and the reverse of these 2oz Shield Stackers feature the same design. The obverse is convex while the reverse is concaved to allow for stacking. It features a rendition of the original artwork from the museum-displayed Shield of Henry II de France. In the centre there is a representation of the Battle of Cannae, (showing France’s struggles against the Holy Roman Empire), surrounded by complicated motifs and symbolism associated with the King and the office of the monarchy.
Both are in excellent condition and come in their original capsules.
Looking for: £68 each or both for £135.
Postage additional.
BT preferred.

steve3jant reacted to Spyder in Wanted surplus laptop( No LONGER REQUIRED)
Hello. Had a major hard drive crash and before buying a new lap top was wonderding if anyone has a surplus laptop that has been repaced by a newer model and is just gathering dust. I need to somehow try and salvage my old files off the other computer. Would prefer a Sony running the Windows 7 OS( others brands will also do). Hopefully you also have the full OS discs. I would like to replace my damaged hard drive and fit in this laptop and run the OS to see what I can salvage. The laptop needs to be working properly with battery holding power and of cause a lead.
I could bring my hard drive to some computer expert but do not want to take the risk that they might make a copy and end up with all my saved passwords in used browsers.
Let me know what is out there with price and photos before I am forced into buying off marketplace or ebay.
