If you like 100 gram bars check out @Mox 's sales thread. I am not affiliated but he's a TSF regular and they're hallmarked and include 1st class post at £81.

The bars you have identified are nice though and are well priced given the market. Whatever you choose you're buying nice silver so win-win.

I have actually picked up a couple of them today! They are real nice. I'm looking forward to my stack growing with a variety of beautiful silver

That makes them £24.88 p/toz, which is still a reasonable price. They look nice, it's cool that they tie back to a TSF member 😁

Oh I must be doing the maths wrong!

    So £400 for 5 100g bars, is there 3.5 oz on 100g?

    3.5 x 5 to get 17.5

    400/17.5 = £22.85

Correct me if I'm horribly wrong please 🤣

If these are £80 minus £6.85 for special delivery making 73p a gram then they are a good deal, provided if you buy multiples the postage cost remains the same (i.e. buying three wouldn't be 3x£80). That said although the bars seem from a known source make sure the seller looks legit. They are not hallmarked though as is mentioned above, unless the hallmark is on the rear of the bars. Hallmarking is not common on bullion so don't let that put you off, although there are 100g bars available with hallmarking if you so desire 😁

Looking at the thread I wonder if the term 'graded' is being used correctly? Grading is when an item is appraised by a third party company such as NGC, then slabbed and labelled. I don't know if I've ever seen a graded bar before. Do you mean hallmarked perchance @Christoph?

It is described as ungraded, so I'm not sure. But the seller seems legit, good rating and 100% feedback. So that's a great sign. I think i will go for them, after looking around it's the best I can find and I'm very happy with the price

Can we be sure you are not simply plugging your own bars, or promoting them for a friend?

    😎

Oh no not at all! I am not selling anything on here, only buying. Also, I have no friends who are into silver so not promoting anything🤣 just trying to find out more and educate myself as I'm quite new

I've just noticed you asked about Tavex too!

I believe it's an Estonian firm, newish to UK. I bought a gold Philly from them last week, they were cheap, very quick to deliver (next day) and their customer service and presentation should be the benchmark for all to follow.

I also believe I've seen them posting on the forum, I think quite possibly when I put the above Philly in 'today I received'.

Would have to recommend as a firm but you will still be paying VAT on silver.

If you buy second hand from the forum, the coins may (to the uninitiated) at first glance not seem too cheap, but don't forget, that is the price, no VAT to be added. So silver  generally sells, at a bit more expensive than no VAT, but almost always cheaper than with VAT.

Thank you for your input, it is much appreciated! It is good to confirm that Tavex is a good company as they offer the best price I can find outside of the forum. I ordered a few from them and then thankfully a lovely gentleman on here offered me some second hand coins at a great price to lower my average.

  6. You guys are great! Very informative! I have been hunting places online for the best price. Things on this forum seem to be snapped up real quick! The best ive found for a 1oz silver britannia is £27.40 and want to get down to £24 really if possible.

The best price is on Tavex bullion if anyone has heard of them?

  7. Hey guys,

I have came accross a website called 'silver to go' and the prices seem very appealing! Just wondered if this website is legit and a good plage to purchase?

    Many thanks

    Chris

  8. Is anyone on here following NESARA/GESARA? And the positive currency reset? And the decades of price surpression on silver finnaly ending and allowing the price to fly to its full potential? From my understanding you can't call any form of buying silver a mugs game because of the true potential of silver prices. Curious to hear from anyone also aware of NESARA/GESARA :)

  9. Hi everyone,

I am very excited to join this forum, I have had a quick look around and it feels amazing! This is such a great time to be into precious metals and this site seems like it offers an amazing place for communities to build!

I am most interested in pre owned 1oz silver Britannias if anyone would like to help.

I look forward to trading with you lovely souls.

    Much love

    Chris
