Couldn't of said it better...flippers are, if not already going to put people off trying to purchase new series in the future especially those who are just getting into collecting..regarding the new Monarch series we who want to get the whole set of 21 are more than likely not going to be lucky enough to get them all on release day especially if the mintages are going to be low...so would have to go to ebay and pay double..personally I'd rather miss out than going to ebay and giving someone hundreds of pounds profit 10 minutes after they are sold out at the RM....Just my opinion 🙄🙄

Well with all the new releases coming out money could be a bit tight for alot atm...

Me too....its a quandary,perhaps the RM do not want to invest their money in discovering and researching the technology like the RCM has. They would rather keep pumping out coins and hoping not too many come back with spotting,scratches etc....

Thankyou for your post...I have expressed my views on flipping. Although I don't agree with the process and receive PM's querying my views. I can understand to an extent why they practice this method....at the end of the day we all want to make money..(Fact) but in all honesty when I see this happening on every release it frustrates me. 1/ because like me there are collectors who just want to own these special coins for the future for their own reasons and mainly to pass on to their children and eventually grandchildren. 2/ the Flippers who are just out to take advantage of acquiring such coins just to take a quick profit without any emotional,collectable or desirability in owning and keeping these coins for there collection only to be beaten to the post by people who are just in it to take advantage of the unlucky ones on the day who missed out and their only option is paying double the price+ on Fleabay....Just leaves a bad taste in my mouth...But saying that,it's the way of the world...or coin Flippers persay.

Phew!!!! I'm beginning to think that the RM are assuming we have unlimited funds to purchase every single release....in such a short span of time....I'm guessing 10% of collectors do but for the rest of us peasants...we do t have the funds to keep buying these coins every few weeks. Although I wish I were one of them who could.

I was very happy to see FLIPPERS selling on Ebay when the Gothic came out. Instantly pricing at £899+ at the beginning..but their greed has now seen these coins come down to around £350-400 🙂 yes there are still making a small profit if they do manage to sell..but at least they are not getting the inflated prices they want on the day of release..even before they have them in hand...and seeing the prices crash....big belly laughs from me....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Wow...that's disgusting to think people (Flippers do that) although would not surprise me....I have more respect for dodgy insurance brokers than I do for FLIPPERS...just my honest opinion on this matter...but I know many will disagree..even established dealers....😳

I'm with you on that...raw coins to me are so much better than putting them in a slab of cheap plastic with a piece of paper saying PF/PR 70 or a MS...I personally think that and I know many don't agree....going back to the old days..(Not so old) but this obsession in getting everything graded is beyond me but if that's your thing...that's fine..just not mine...

Does having a 'First of 100 struck' really make a difference and justify extra premiums???🤔 Think I'll pass....
