  1. Well that's fine for you @LawrenceChard...u are a main dealer and could shift them without any problems but for us who are not in your league...alot more difficult so your any quantity wanted isn't really appropriate for us mere collectors..with respect.☹
  2. The demand for this will be high and it will most likely sell out in minutes..but the price is too much for me Not that I can't afford it..but I'm not prepared to lay out £675 for this Sovreign albeit a SOTD...
  3. I dont and didn't say I use my coins as a current account. I collect for the future Savings/Pension. What I was trying to say and I probably didn't get it across to well..is that it is alot easier imo if I need to liquidate quickly for some unexpected reason its easier to sell low denomination bullion than it would be trying to sell 100oz bars or coins if there are such coins...
  4. I can appreciate your view....I persist think...its easier to shift 100 oz's of 1 oz coins than a 100oz coin ...and I'm speaking overtime as I don't buy to sell but as an investment..but if I need a few hundred £'s I know it's not going to be too long to sell them rather than a big chunk..but also realise that's not always the rule.....
  5. I've seen so many 100oz+ bars on different forums there for a long time while it's easier to sell a 1oz 2oz etc......for quick sale when you need cash you can't beat lower denomination coins to sell...100oz you can sell or course..just takes alot longer to shift..and!! Buyers of these chunks always want to barter to get a lower price... you can advertise a coin or coins on here or Fleabay and you can shift them within a week...100oz's...takes a bit of time.
  6. I respect your opinion and views...from experience 100oz of silver is hard to pass on...unless you are lucky enough to find a buyer or buyers who really want a chunk..with silver being a metal that doesn't seem to be going up or down atm and hovering around $21-22an oz and nor doing much more ..the spot price would have to go down significantly before I committed to purchasing a lump.but always......just my opinion....
  7. Personally I'd never buy a 100oz silver bar etc..the problems is as I see it is liquidity. Its OK if you are planning to hold on to it to pass down or pass it on but I don't think many people would hand over money for 100 oz,kilo silver bars..but I could be wrong...just wouldn't be my choice.....1,2,5 or 10 oz are so much easier to liquidate...anything above that I personally stay well clear of,not because I don't appreciate the size..just too difficult to sell in the long run..unless you know people who will have know problems taking them off your hands.....
  8. Never apologise....its a sign of weakness..( Leroy gethro gibbs).....
  9. Haha not surprised...their QC dept must be 1 person who just takes no interest regarding QC ( Which they are employed for)....because he/she wants to get home for their dinner, night out or going on a date with their Girlfriend or boyfriend..clock watchers....5pm..they are out of the office..😆😆😆😆😆😆😃
  10. So, taking from your statement....you don't like silver..😄😄😄😄😄
  11. Now I can...its horrible to see any marks when you are expecting something that should be proof...the creme de la creme..was it just the one coin with problems?
  12. Thanks, I know about ebay...I never buy coins from there unless I know the seller...I did have another look, its now been re-listed for £620??
  13. Saw this on ebay, don't know if others have seen it..was shocked it didn't sell!!!
  14. My opinion...I vantage stand flippers..they are not coin collectors do not appreciate the beauty of these coins..just want to make a few hundred pounds on the flip....Guess they are poor and desperate for a little profit..🤢🤢🤢
  15. I guess that is a great return if you grade and pay all the fees! But alot of people do not want to grade so have to accept the value of their raw coins n except a devaluation on their original purchase price....
  16. Will the release in the upcoming months of Queen Victoria gothick crown set really increase the value of the first quartered arms release???? I see sellers selling the first edition for the quartered Arms at a a lower price..and some dealers lowering their prices on this first edition....makes me think that these coins are not as popular and sought after as they should be....is this release a bummer or will they increase in value in the next 5-10 years??????
  17. Doesn't make sense...only the dealer would know but hasn't commented so far🤔🤔🤔🤔??????
  18. I'm in the same mind....but was it 100% problem free?? If so why???? Would it be sold for such a lower price,if the coins are in the same condition without any problems how can the dealer sell them with such a big price gap???? Bit strange imo!
