It's nationwide as far as I know. Bars, Brits & sovs. You can buy discreetly by asking for a sovereign or whatever you want at customer services. Fill in a form, flash your membership card and pay. Great way to build a stack with little effort or worry about getting a fake gold.

Can they test it there for you if you request ?

  2. Maybe mods should delete this or the OP shoudlndontjebrifjtbtjinf and remove the thread ? I can’t lie I’m guilty of being a sheep a lot of the time and posts like this usually convince me to not purchase. After ready the comments and Caroline though I have reconsidered to potentially using them in the future. What I’m getting at is a lot of people usually can get swayed not just by posts like this but in everyday life with things. Innocent until proven guilty ? Lol. Seriously though I think this post should disappear.

I've literally waited for them to lower the price by 5p before when I was adamant I wasn't paying anything more then I wanted. Needless to say it probably cost me about £25 more in the end a few weeks later after getting tired of watching the price going up and up 🤣🤣

    So relatable lol.

I've used Atkinson's..... Never had to call them and normally pretty good. Although I've noticed they've had *technical issues" sometimes when prices drop 🤣🤣🤣

When they deliver is it Royal Mail special delivery ? Kind of like bullion by post. Do they dispatch well ?

I know exactly where you're coming from. I was waiting for the prices to fall but then Russia kicked off with their nonsense so when I saw a few sovereign's come up I was waiting for I jumped on them. I did it with a bit of a gritted jaw but I'm glad I did. I've already sold two but should've waited lol. Buy when you can little by little. Sometimes it'll be up and other things it'll be down but it will even out.

I can’t find any sovereigns 2022 anywhere anyway lol. Half’s and quarters I can but premiums are not as sexy as I would like.

When I first started buying gold in 2018 it was £900 an ounce .

two years later when the pandemic first started I paid £1350 an ounce for my bullion gold and people called me crazy for buying gold at it’s all time hight price , few months later when I wanted to buy a new car and needed cash I sold the same gold for £1520 an ounce 😝

goes to show the price that might seem very high to you at some pint will become a dip .

buy whatever you want whenever you want regardless of the price , it’s gold , that’s why it’s a safe haven because it’s the safest investment on the planet .

Thanks for the response. I hear what your saying. I started properly in middle of 2020. I’m just thinking of this war stops then the price will drastically gone back down . Not sure if I should wait until then tbh.

  7. Was hoping it would come in at abit lower and not increase. Really wanted to purchase three sovereigns but I don’t think I can justify the price at what they are now. Especially when I’m averting around £329 for one. After reading all the comments above about it I probably should go ahead and buy anyway ? But what about the dip ??? lol I need to get my price emotions in check . Someone advise me please lol.

  8. No Nando’s this time I’m afraid lol.

Anyway so I’m seeing a few posts above about buying whatever the price is. I find the same problem sometimes buying with emotional well not buying with emotion because of the certain price. If I purchase sovs now it will be the highest I ever paid for them. I was hoping for the 330-335 range but doesn’t look like it’s going to get down to that price for a while. Do I purchase anyway ?
