I think all the silver proofs are sold. It says "awaiting stock" on the 1oz silver proofs but allows you to add them to your basket. Not sure what that means but I think it'll mean they're sold out and the page needs updating.

Now I have 1x continuity set and 2x 1oz proof coins. 🤞 They don't balls it up!

So I've just spoken to the royal mint. They told me I couldn't have 3 individual and a continuity set. I've had to cancel one of my individual coins as I can only have 3x 1oz

Done.... Thanks for the info Gordy. I went back to the royal mints website to order a 3rd before you responded and then came back here. Read your reply and went back and ordered the 10 coin set as well. Now I'll have 4 1oz silver proofs of the same coin 🤦🤣

Hello TSF. I've just ordered 2x of the first in the series, 1oz silver proof Tudor Beasts coins from the royal mint. I'm wondering who else has managed to get their hands on one. My thoughts are to try and complete the 1oz silver proof set to keep and another one of each to either complete a second set or to trade against one I might miss. Is this a good way to do things or not?

So it looks like the rumours of a Tudor beast series is no longer a rumour. Now to jiggle some funds about and see if I'm able to start a collection from the beginning.

Chards have a good price on their 1oz gold bullion queen's beasts at the moment. Shame they don't accept Barclay card though 🤣.

Thanks for the heads up @goldhunter. If that does come to be true then I'm sure they'll be just as popular as that queen's beast. Maybe more so from the beginning seeing how popular those became.

Hey good people of the silver forum. As I'm a newbie I've recently come to realise that new coin releases for the coming year can come onto the market a couple of months before it starts. (The maid Marion coin for example) so does anyone know when the new platinum jubilee sovereign will be available and is there a normal date on the calender for such releases?

In the pull out "fee" box it says20% vat +4% on gold coins..... What's that about?

I've had no issues using my credit card to by from UK bullion dealers so far although it's not been large amounts. I use my cc to order gold because it's 0% interest and it's more then I spend on my debit card in one go. I think my debit card would have a lower spending cap then my cc would. Also a cc offers more protection then a debit card does. I'll be less able to buy bulk discounted offers if I'm charged to use my cc and the interest rate is charged at standard rate regardless of the deal I have. Definitely one to look into.

I see that the royal Australian mint have started a new "pirate queen's" series. I might go down that avenue to start a collection from the beginning. I prefer the look of the Rwanda nautical series though.
