  1. Nope. I'm after a full and a half sovereign before the price goes above £1300 again lol.
  2. Life just kicked back in after an hour or so.
  3. So from what I see the, bullion by posts trade monitoring has flat lined and Atkinsons site is down..... Anything strange going on?
  4. I did see that somewhere but I was unsure if I was reading it right. £10k seems an awful lot for our greedy taxmen to let you get away with. Thanks for your input, it does tie with how I was reading it.
  5. There's no way valuing them at face value would wash lol. I'm traveling light so only carry on and a personal item for me. I'd rather keep them close when I travel if I do get any.
  6. There's 3 possible options for them to choose from if they decide to value them. Face, spot or retail 🤣 Unfortunately I'm traveling alone. Otherwise I might of thought about loading a few more in their bags lol
  7. I'm off to the states soon and was wondering if anyone is able to clarify if any import charges apply if I were to bring a couple of tubes of eagles back with me. I'm thinking while I'm there I can take advantage of picking up a tube or two of type 1 & 2. Has anyone done this before and is it luck of the draw if I'm stopped with them or not?
  8. It's a buyer's market here. Not really a place to sell unless you need to. I'm just trying to build up a positive reputation as a seller for any future sale I might need to make in a hurry. I can hopefully get a fair price with people willing to trust that I'm selling what I say I'm selling. That's the whole point of this forum. It's just flooded at the moment 🤣
  9. Yeah. That's what I think I'll have to do. I'd rather hold longer term then to lose right now. I'd happily break even because by the time you add on all the little bits like the subscription to sell on here (as little as it is) postage items to send, then take a bit of a hit on postage itself ect.... it all adds up and any profit you may have had in mind is gone lol. To sell at any higher price is pricing yourself out.
  10. There's silver all over the sale room on here, none is easy to sell to breakeven at the moment. Big bars are a bit a niche market I think.
  11. Looks good. Some of the wss lot would be interested in those if they're still available on the 5th of November lol.
  12. Yeah, I may have been a bit reserved lol.
  13. What do you reckon..... About £1200 on the 3 coin set?
  14. There's been a few guess mock-ups put out there from some dealers. I wouldn't believe it until the royal mint shows it but I'm not sure where some get their info from.
  15. I'd rather buy from Atkinsons myself if they stock the panther bullion.
  16. I got my interest registered yesterday. I might get a tube of silvers and maybe a gold 1/4.
  17. I can't see anything about the family being called back. I've only done a quick Google search but nothing immediate comes up. I'd of thought it would in her maj's case though.
  18. As the Tudor Beasts set is dealing with royal history already, if the worst should happen to ol'liz or she abdicates the thrown before the set finishes, that's added royal history again on top of the story so there would be a lot to say for this set in that case. All that aside, I wish her a lot of healthy years to come.
  19. Theres probably a fair few sets out there that would have to do the same thing from around the world.
  20. Whether or not a head change part way through a set would have any bearing on its future value I don't know but as a marker in time it would at least show the year that the monarch changed. For the best or the worst. That would be history.
  21. The head would change but the set would continue o should think.
