So I've had the email from the royal mint that the new sovereign will be available on Monday the 15th of November. Annoyingly No pictures of it though!

I'd rather look at it as how much am I prepared to lose when the next dip happens. Are these prices likely to stay up for the long term? Are they likely to increase? How much am I willing to bet on both cases? I plan to keep what I have for years and years so those such things don't matter right now. The only thing that matters is not getting carried away buying at the top of a peak. A week ago I didn't think prices would be where they are now so I clearly am no good a predictions.

I called it wrong as I thought it was a flash in the pan last week. I've been proven very wrong lol. I thought I left it a bit late to join in this game but so far it's looking good for the little bit I have. Some is better than none.

I can't believe the amount of bad luck you've had with these. It's such a shame to see it. Out of 3 that I've had 2 are immaculate and the 3rd I sent back for a refund due to a scuff it had. I've not had to deal with their after sales really but it seems so poor. The Royal Mint should be so much better than this. These are undoubtedly Beautiful coins but the quality control need to get a grip.

If it was the case that the Boe was hurting that bad you'd of thought they put the interest rates up at least a fraction but they held so 🤷.

What do you think on its long term stability at this level? I have a hunch it's a blip but I'm no expert

It was up to £1500+ last year

I think investors speculated the interest rate was going to go up so moved to something else and then when it stayed the same they came back. Hopefully (for me at least) it's just a short hike.

Yup. I tried to get my full & half sov when it was down at 1290 and couldn't get on the site. Now it's a waiting game to see when it comes back down. Plus they've sold out on Half's again 🤦🤣

There does look to be both. They're sold out on pre orders of all set ranges now but could be worth trying to get first refusal on any cancellations.

I've seen one dealer taking pre orders a week or so ago and they were sold out apart from one set range.

I'll be going for 1x full & 1x half bullion myself. I thought about a full proof but probably can't afford that right now.
