  1. Thanks for the pictures, those are some of the first in hand ones I've seen. It's the only gold 50p I'll have as well. Do you mean you're not interested in the coin itself or just not interested in how well it'll do?
  2. There was a double gold proof set? I didn't see it. Then again I was blindsided by the fact I got in quick enough to grab something lol. I jumped on what I saw and placed the order quick fast. I got in around 09:30ish and i think they were sold out of everything soon after.
  3. I have my gold jubilee 50p being delivered tomorrow. I'll put some pictures up when I have it in hand. Does anyone have theirs yet and if so... What do you think of it and what do you think of it's potential?
  4. I have my gold jubilee 50p being delivered to me tomorrow!! I'll throw some pictures up once it's in hand.
  5. Welcome new guy. There's plenty of shiny stuff to spend your money on here. If you weren't totally addicted before..... You will be lol.
  6. Very nice. One of the lucky ones 🥳
  7. Well I never would've thought I'd be having a conversation about hairdryers to be honest with you but yes... Yes we are!
  8. That'll do the trick.... Might have to waive goodbye to the coin as you fire it off into the distance though.
  9. I can't help you with that answer but I'd like to know as well. I've had an eye on them but I haven't decided if I'll go for them or not. Does anyone know when the bullion version of these will be ?
  10. Frosting is like the finish on the body of the panther. Where you have your circle is in the mirrored finish field. If there were shiny specks on the panther itself it would be that the frosting is missing in that spot.
  11. There's a lot of reassuring comments on this thread now. Before I started to pull my hair out with my first set that had a tiny dink that was only noticeable under the loupe and at certain angles. It drove me to send it back for replacement after reading some comments. It came in today but as I have my granddaughter today I haven't opened it yet. 🤞 I never made a mistake. I have 2 sets to look at so have double the anxiety building lol.
  12. I see what you're saying but they're calling them £5 coins .... I guess it's a one off for a one off occasion. Does that make them more unique in the future?
  13. That's one of the things eating away at me with the Tudor beasts....
  14. Gotta give them time. Might take a while but I think they could be a good one for the future.
  15. There was 1oz silver £5 coins at about 10:00. Couldn't tell you how many but I nearly had 3 but put one back and picked up the gold 50p
  16. Managed to bag a gold jubilee 50p from the mint and 2x 1oz silver £5 coins
  17. I prefer caps. Blisters are trickier to store and in my opinion, aesthetically I think blisters look horrible. Just my opinion but some will prefer blisters.
  18. Yeah, I re-read it but same thing. Once you order it you'll get it. They also have the image reveal but we already know what it is lol.
