  1. Not yet, was going to update it when I had a sec to include the different mints. At the moment it’s just B - bullion, P- proof and H - half. Will try and update this week. Pm me your email and I’ll send you a copy 👍🏻
  2. Yup. For some reason the cost really grates me but is a necessity. I just have to tell myself that without it, I wouldn’t be collecting and would’ve pissed it up the wall so the benefit outweighs the price.
  3. Tended to stay away from the numismatic side of things but just out of probability some runs are appearing. This just shows bullion (top box) or proof (middle box) and also shows half’s (bottom box) as I’ve stumbled over a few on the journey. They are a mix of mints.
  4. Might take a month off as I really overspent this month to hit kg 😂 but will carry on. for me it’s just a good way of saving as I am rubbish with money and if it’s in the bank it quickly gets spent on expensive toys and rubbish off Amazon. No real plan on what I’m saving for! I’m lucky as mortgage all paid off so there as an emergency fund or just nice for retirement 🥳🎉 Really wish I was introduced to this way of saving 25 years ago.
  5. Purchased a special sovereign off @James32 last week which means I owe a massive thanks to everyone on TSF as I've hit the 1kg of gold in full sovereigns 🙂 (That's 137 to save anyone counting 😂). I started this journey just under 3 years ago after happening upon TSF after looking up what one was worth that was given to me by my grandparents when I was born. Gave myself the target of 1kg in 10 years (1 per month plus a few) and have smashed that. Honestly the best decision I've done and a great little nest egg for retirement. Here's to the next kg and once again, thank you all 😀🥰
  6. I'm really not trying to have a go @NextDayBullion but even goldback.com states "Goldbacks are not legal tender, but they are valid for barter, trade, discounts." and I could do the same with a camel! It's great that your enthusiastic about your products but selling on TSF is not like selling something on Facebook, as any and all questions are always asked. They are nothing personal, it's all about the gold! (On that note, everyone please go and follow his page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61554685384746). It was a really genuine question and as a stacker in the UK I was genuinely interested in the answer. Would you agree with the following? In the UK, they are really just for beginners to dip their toe in the gold scene or as a lovely novelty to frame up for the wall and makes a great present. In the USA they can be used in some shops in some states in place of currency as a barter token and may become very popular. If your a serious gold stacker in the UK I wouldn't recommend these as the best investment in gold but they are great for starting out and have some amazing designs that could become collectable over time. I think they look really good, and now I know what their purpose is I'd love a set for the wall if you still have some available? I might even get one graded for the giggle. Out of interest, has anyone on here ever stuck one on a Sigma? Can it be tested? According to the math the gold in 1 goldback is roughly 0.2 microns thick.
  7. Thanks @JamesH, so they are just a collectable 😀👍🏻 God, that was hard work 😂
  8. And how does comparing them to collectible bits from 2021 with a high premiums help explain what the point of them is? A sovereign from Chards is currently 3.25% and from TSF this week 0% premiums. it was a simple question I thought?
  9. So hence my question? What’s the point? Are they just a collectible? I’ve read your link and still none the wiser as it says what they are, I know what they are, but not what the point of them is. If they follow spot then surely you are better off with plain bullion as you can buy more of it and an easy out. For example, if I bought 5k worth today I could get just under 1oz of gold in these or just over 2oz of bullion. In my simple mind I’d rather the uplift of 2ozs rather than 1oz! If they don’t follow spot what do they follow?
  10. So what is the point of these? I presume at over 5K / oz they are just a collectible card like a Pokémon thing where you collect the set or am I missing something?
  11. Thanks @1stsovereign that is very kind of you and from what I've seen bout, an amazing price but still way too good a condition for what I'm looking for, hence it being a long shot. Please offer it to @ZRPMs. Was really looking for a pocket piece that had signs of somebody chewing on it. I'm a stacker that has started to look at date runs thanks to TSF but you've not conditioned me to a fully fledged numismatist yet!!! 🙂 Best regards,
  12. Yes mate. Hopefully there’s one out there that has been a pocket piece 😂
  13. Long shot, but does anyone have a bullion condition 1989 sovereign for sale? Cheers
  14. Another sovereign book for the library, nicely signed by Marsh.
  15. A good little read from the Royal Mint on sovereigns published in 1989. Nicely signed by one of the authors Graham Dyer to a Dr. Brian Robinson who was a significant authority on the Royal Maundy and wrote two books on the subject - The Royal Maundy (1977) and Silver Pennies & Linen Towels (1992)
  16. On the plus side, if this is going to be a massive slide, we get to do this all again 😀🤑🥴
  17. Skyfiller

    Gold hallmark

Would agree with masonic vibes and it actually all 4 triangles in it, air, water, fire and earth.
  18. No problem, thanks for letting me know.
  19. Till it ends up here 😳 1,840.76 / oz
