Any news on the 2oz gold proof? Can't remember if it was going to be another dealer exclusive.

My update with my 1oz gold coin proof from the RM. Fingers crossed I did the correct thing in asking for a replacement

I have made some enquiries regarding your question and can confirm that an order that is returned to us is inspected and should the product be below our Royal Mint Proof Standard the customer will receive a replacement product. The returned coin will be scrapped. The exchange of one coin to another means that the number of coins sold remain within the Limited Edition Presentation. If the returned coin is deemed to be within our Royal Mint Proof Standard the customer will be contacted and given a choice to receive their original coin back or receive a refund.
 
I’ve checked your account and it appears your coin has been booked on for exchange, so we’re just awaiting on stock. As soon as the order despatches you’ll receive an email containing tracking information.

Today's arrivals. 

A few weeks ago i sold some 1 oz silver coins and 1 oz gold. These were a friend's coins. They aren't a member of the forum. They had asked me what a decent price was and what they had been offered by a dealer. i said they could do better on TSF, so i sold them on their behalf.
i hadn't sold before but i had bought many times. i had a good trading reputation on that basis. I'm not going to diddle anyone - i value the forum membership too highly.
The rules of engagement should be
You put up decent photos and describe the goods honestly and exactly - if they have some milk spot, then you say so and show it. No-one can then come back to say you mis-sold items.
You receive the payment before you send the silver.
Do bank transfer.
You package the coins well - proper secure. To be ultra safe you should video the packaging and presentation at the post office.
You send the silver registered post only.
You sell to members who have a decent trading record.
Now your issue is you have no trading record. BYB has offered to act as an intermediary. If there are going to be multiple sales then you might use him for the first sale or two and then once you have a record then you might be able to go solo.
The other way is to send and receive the cash after your buyer has received the goods. If you sell to let's say longstanding members - someone like me, i would say you are safe to do that.  

I also used to replace “bullion” gold coins from the royal mint with no problem. So i am sure they will replace your 2.3k proof coin without checking if its gets a 68+.  I guess that they just say that when its a highly sought after coin hoping less people will return but in the end its your right for a return/replacement. Hi all and good luck with this one. I logged in on my pc at 9 on release day and i was like 36th in line. When i got in everything was available, so naturally i went for the 1 oz proof gold. I had my wife next to me trying to get one for her too as we are both collectors 🙂. Whatever i was pressing to put in my cart kept the website crushing sending me on the homepage. My wife actually put the gold 1oz proof in the cart and she was completing the order but for some reason it didn’t go through. After a few minutes of screaming, cold sweat and a bit of crying..
We finally grabbed our phones and logged in from there and managed to both get 1oz gold proof coins! I am not sure if the coins will actually arrive but we are crossing our fingers that our otders wont be cancelled. Everything was sold out in couple of minutes really! We also got the silver 1oz version which i see has also sold out within 24 hours! This coin is one of the most beautiful i have seen and hope to get it soon and add it to my collection soon 🥰
