Also don't look at the Royal Mint as your source or guide to pricing, on here you get the bests deals, and without looking I'd say Atkinsons, Tavex, Chards, HGM and Bleyer will all be cheaper than the RM

recently I would say on here the average has been around £175.00 for standard Brits etc and a bit higher for the more sought after ones

TBH I've not seen a 1/10th go for spot for as long as I can remember, there will always be a premium on them, it can just fluctuate, lowest I've seen on here recently was £165.00 plus post when spot was in the £1500.00's

All your choice matey but to ask the question out loud you already know that 15% is too much, I'd hate for a family member to take advantage of me like that if I was in dire financial worries and make extra money out of me. I'd probably just say 'no' I'd rather default and then work out an arrangement plan with more affordable payments to the credit card company and if you get a few years unable to get credit then so be it, the credit score will sort itself out if they sort themselves out over time, it can be done but takes time just my opinion mind... you did ask
