  1. RM appealing to a wider audience to wake them up, for those that maybe don't appreciate the already beautiful designs such as the sovereign etc. And more caught up and have more or a desire in fantasy / film. I bought James bond coins, but much prefer the design of George and the Dragon, KCIII coronation or William Wyon. I think this series will start to wake more of the masses to gold / silver and the market will grow and start to understand what we understand about real money.
  2. To stop cash flows out of banks, sitting out of the 'system', making the banks 'fail' due to liquidity issues, a CBDC will be introduced! Ensuring the majority of cash flows stay within the 'system', so we don't see banks fail like we have done when interest rates need to go up to levels needed to fight inflation. CBDC's or 'a' CBDC is on the way and I imagine the above narrative will be fed to us all by the FED etc. More banks failing and cash flowing out is part of the problem. When the CBDC is in use, I hope they program in reward points, or will that be social credit points! 🤣
  3. Thnks, but sadly I'm expecting BOE to follow... Plus, the other day, I saw a UK bank to increase their rate by 0.25 by May 2023.
  4. I hope rates reduction is sooner rather than later. I'd guess at Q3 but let's see what happens from now. Interesting and challenging times ahead.
  5. The higher rates mean more debt repayments for governments. This is good for gold going forward, but I suppose the question is, at what point would the FED need to pivot on rates. How much collateral damage are they willing to do? Sad 😔
  6. That'll be my mortgage going up again, yay! I'm expecting rates to cool off when more of the small to medium banks consolidate to a more 'favourable' larger bank that will roll out a CBDC. In the meantime I'll be one of those that are literally living paycheck to paycheck. At least for now, until a number of things happen this year that are all out of my control but expect things to change in the right direction. A drop in interest rate in the next 6 to 12 months will be a bonus. This cost of living crisis bloody bites doesn't it! And when you know you want to buy gold or silver, it's a mixture of compromises. I think I'll start buying a gram of gold now every few months! 🤣🤣🤣
  7. That's a very pessimistic view. AI will help with tasks that us humans find repetitive and not reaching their full potential. New jobs will definitely be created in areas that will test limits and potential and probably find more rewarding. Would any government want to stop productivity... no, of course not. It's about changing the types of roles to continue to benefit society.
  8. The cost of living will be addressed, and this will enable people to buy it, if they wish. As per my previous post about wiping out the global debt for gold to revalue at £10k +, this in itself would enable higher wages, as government has a clean slate.
  9. It would cost £322 for 1 gram of gold bullion, which would be affordable for the majority of people. It's a case of less weight / volume for the majority.
  10. Back in March 2020, I calculated 190,000 tonnes of gold (oz's = 6,108,633,000) were mined globally with a global debt of: $260,000,000,000,000 Exchange rate of 0.77 used to covert to £... £200,200,000,000,000 So, to wipe out global debt (the reset) if we purely used gold to do that, gold would have to be revalued at £32,773 per oz. This doesn't include any shadow banking debt, which are non-high street, lending to Joe public banks, which I believe have a debt of the same, going by a video I watched years ago by George Gammon I believe. so, in March 2020 1 oz of gold would have to revalued to £65,546 per oz, which includes shadow banking debt at the time. The more debt that is created, the more coiled up the spring for the gold rocket becomes (maybe go past the 'moon' for some people!). I think gold will go to at least £10,000 in my lifetime and more. There doesn't have to be armageddon at all to reach that level - policy will drive that level and people will get on with their lives using a digital currency. Gold has very high potential. It will be interesting to see what unfolds and how high the debt levels rise, which is, remember, very good for the golden coiled spring, which will release overtime, more so at certain points over the next decade.
  11. More small to medium sized banks will go 'under' sooner rather than later...
  12. And your photography skills are much better than mine! 😄 Beautiful... and definitely a keeper! Your COA is 1 less than mine... what are the chances!
  13. You do right. If I had more funds, I would have bought the 1 oz too. Good choice! 👍
  14. My photography skills probably falling short, I zoomed in making it look deceptively oversized. In reality proportions are good for the size of coin. The boxes for the 1 oz are slightly larger. 👍
  15. I know I was really shocked to have received it so soon! Sorry you're still waiting on yours. Hopefully not too long now...
  16. Surprised to have this delivered sooner than expected! What an absolutely amazing coin and arrived before King Charles III's coronation too! 😍😍😍
  17. Today I received an email from the Royal Mint confirming my order for the 1/4 oz gold proof coronation of King Charles III... ...wow what a morning! I'm so grateful to get what I really wanted and so lucky with it having a very low max mintage. I could see the numbers in the source code from the website going down, very quickly. Pictures to follow in June 2023 prior to grading and then after grading. Congratulations to those who got what they wanted and sorry if anyone didn't manage to get anything.
  18. Wonga is wronga... To da moon!! 🌙 🌚 🌔 🌕 🌖 🌛
  19. I prefer gold 999.9 pure or 2 parts silver. I do have a few 'rose gold' modern proof sovereigns, which I would prefer to be yellow gold. Given the change in composition, replacing the silver to copper and the amount of silver collectable coins released, I do wonder if the silver price will start to increase in the coming years?
  20. Please post some pictures when you get them - did you order gold and silver? William Wyon's George and the Dragon! Nice.
  21. But who's going to strike the match to light the rocket (candle)!? To the.....!
