What is an alternative use for crapto? Good luck to those burning up an entire country's electricity output in order to create an artificial asset class. Better luck spending it, unless you are in El Salvador where even mad enthusiasts are discovering that yes, crapto is affected by inflation.

Ordered my monthly fractional piece from the dealer at 1310/oz..and derp derp whirrr......😁 Ah well, managed to snaffle some earlier in the year when it was cheaper so it has evened out. Mind, I am in this for the long haul so in no hurry to sell. Good thing really. Lol.

Ordered the 1oz silver yesterday, arrived today. No sign of spotting (but my eyesight is pretty poor) and it is a lovely design. Bit weird going on the RM site in that the green pop up bar allowed you to order when there was no indication of any in stock...so took the gamble and pleasantly surprised to say the least when I was allowed to order.

Needs a Blackadder coin surely....

I'll be buying the Perth Mint version. After the entertainment I have had with the Royal Mint with a very small order recently (still waiting for 2 coins and they are bog standard bullion coins after a month) - compared to buying from a dealer in Melbourne (the one in Australia - same week Fedex) - I have really, really really given up with the Mint this time (mind I said that last itme on here and was drawn back...). Not really on topic but wanted to rant.

Dunno why but the youtube channellers who were squawking about great resets and UUGGE prices for precious metals have gone very quiet. There are bigger returns elsewhere with interest rates rising - so I am somewhat bemused that people are miffed that the big guns are deploying their cash in other places. Ah well, I am quietly tootling along - buying bits and pieces now and then. Perhaps there should be a sub forum for those of us who can't afford to buy ounces and our budgets are somewhat in the fractional range? 🤐 I seem to be a bit lost reading the size of everyone else's purchases...🤨
