Bought some more sterling flatware on ebay for a fraction under £11 an ounce. I now have 8 kilos of sterling with an average of £10.94 ozt

I got a 10oz scottsdale bar for £145 off ebay. 
Sellers name is  afnbeckford . I see from his feedback that he has sold a few in the past. 
I do most of my buying from german companys and 10oz coins on STG atm are costing £155 so this is a real treat for me
 

Picked up a 1914 full sovereign in very good condition from a local dealer for £200

My very first gold purchase. Nothing special just a 2001 half sovereign. Slightly smaller than a penny. Very cool and nice and compact vs silver too! 

Here is the 2 Rand, got a 1964.  Nice enough. Impressed with the quality for a bullion coin from HGM. And for £209 delivered that's hard to beat - when there are sellers on eBAy asking for anything from 250 to 400£ for the same coin! Now I see why HGM is so popular - even if the spot premium has climbed a bit recently.

Bought at auction last week, only picked it up yesterday, into the capsule today. A fairly standard $10 S gold Eagle from 1901.  The Liberty heads are growing on me, although the Indian head is still my favourite pre-33 US gold design! 

On Saturday I received. Still picking up the odd fractional gold despite the prices.
Not posted one up for a while, so this one is for the boring old stackers amongst us.

5 Sovereigns from HGM

The cutlas i used nectar points and some rubbish i sold on e-bay.It feels better when you wheel n deal like free silver.My Sovereign was birthday money, happy days.

I'm now going on a silver and gold sabbatical for 6 months. Need to save for a holiday and sort of up my other investments, just in case those eggs fall out of the theoretical basket.
HOWEVER, if and when any ebay or nectar deals come up I will maximise them and buy the minimum needed to use up those deals.
So taking that into consideration, with the 500 nectar point bonus for spending over £35, I just bought 130g of sterling silver forks for £42.69, which equates to £10.99 ozt. (although with the 539 nectar points worth £2.70, the topcashback 1.1% worth 47p, and the credit card cashback of 0.5% worth 21p, that brings the whole thing down to an equivalent of £10.17 ozt )
It's easy this investment lark isn't it.

Two days ago actually - and after 2 years in this game my first purchase from HGM! A bullion gold South African 2 Rand. Happened to see them available mid-morning for £203 and I have learned from so many Forum members to move fast on that site when you see what you like! 
Anyone else get one? There were 5 available. Hope it's in good shape; nice to compare to the other coins of that size (quarter ounce).

Well, well,well. I do love the education system we have today. About a week ago, I spotted a 1981 sovereign on an ebay auction, spelled "soveriegn". Starting bid of £195, So I bid that amount, thinking oh well someone else will spot it, but you never know.
But they didn't...
Another cheapie to add to the stack.
It's been a good few days for me.
