I'm not sure what I'll do with the tabs. I don't know if they'll work just in a box of stuff or whether they'll need to go direct into the tubes. I imagine it'll need to be in an air-tight environment.


I've learnt that proof black coins are not easy to photograph.

1oz HR RAM 'Argo' crocodile and 1oz HR Perth Mint great white shark. Apologies for the bad lighting.

Croc is on the right in the last photo, not as High Relief as the Perth Mint coins but the detail on the crocodile is amazing.

2014 1kg Libertad Proof-Like. That's the 2014 Proofs done.  Don't need future years since the design remains static.
2010 1/20 Gold Proof Libertad.
2014 1oz High Relief Edge-Tailed Eagle.  A year late but when I started collecting I wasn't interested in Proofs so I missed a lot of early releases.  The price of this in the secondary market has been crazy but managed to grab a couple.  The 2015 is due out any second but I wanted to complete my 2014 set.  2015 is unchanged so I won't be collecting them.

Today I received the New Zealand 1oz black rhino, my new favourite coin and 100 1/2 oz lunar horses.

Currently wandering around Bath and West showground at the giant flea market. Just bought a 1981 proof full sov with box and coa for £225. (Was priced at £245). Considering the cheapest delivered bullion sov at the moment is about £205. I'm well happy at the price I got. My first proof full sov.

And also got this week a bunćh of the 1 oz Kookaburra bullion coins that I have been rounding up from various US sellers. Very happy with the variety! Plenty more to post up when they arrive. Love to see the Matt burnished finish on the 2006-2008 coins.

Silver always seems to out perform gold in a bull run, the tricky part is knowing when to sell, I have no worries about sitting on gold till I retire, silver on the other hand is all about timing, personally at the moment I'm putting more into silver.

OK so here are the two RM proof horses.
 
I can see the brown dots with the naked eye but they don't stand out too much (depending on how you tilt the coin).  I was considering flipping one but it may be better to wait until a couple more in the series are released.  The resale of non-perfect coins does concern me but I still think these were good value.

Chinese 3 yuan 1992 silver coin - from the inventions and discoveries series. It's in better condition then the photo suggests
