I would test on a sigma or that xrp or whatever it’s called machine at a good jewellers then if that comes back right I would take to a coin fair and get someone to check it out who is familiar with those sorts of coins then if that goes well send for grading, just my checklist if I was unsure myself ☺️

I wish I had one to compare it too, unfortunately I don’t 🤣

I have a few but won’t have access to them until Monday, I will take photos to compare for you, I’m not an expert on them but I’ll do what I can 😊

Erratic is the word I was going to use, but as a reason I don't think it's cleaned. Cleaning normally leaves even lines in one obvious direction, these hairlines are everywhere and looks like wear and tear to me. Patchy colouring is also another reason I don't think it's cleaned. Unless it's a wipe on the jeans job!
I'm fairly inexperienced when it comes to grading coins, however.
Wear on the high points.. Face, shield, breast and wing, for example. I wouldn't necessarily say high grade, but overall in nice condition.
Interesting take, I appreciate it, the colours of the coin do make me think it hasn’t been cleaned or maybe it was just cleaned a long time ago, I do think I will be returning it unfortunately 🤣 thank you for your input 👍

Second one has definitely been cleaned at some point, and I wouldn't call it 'high grade' either.
Sorry when I say ‘high grade’ I mean, nicer than the washers knocking around and a premium has been paid because of it, it’s certainly not mintstate but still a nice grade…. Well apart from the cleaning 🤣

Looks cleaned because of hairlines and patchy colour, cleaned erratically would be my guess

yeah guys I agree, thanks for the input as always 👍

I’ve been looking for one of these for a bit, just for a family member birthday present. If I see any anywhere at good price online I’ll share 👍 my next stop is probably local CS

£28 (plus £4.45 p) from b and g, but personally don’t like the photo they’ve got there
You can normally find them knocking around for spot or close to it

Sorry!
Yes, I do plan on making them this year.
I will be communicating out to people at some point this year. The main problem is that they will be quite a bit more expensive than last year!
Would maybe be around £250 each I would think
Tidy, they do look great 😊 yeah I’m sure we can all understand why 👍
