closed 1872 Melbourne Shield Sovereigns, a rare and historic coin for £455pp

I am looking to liquidate some duplicates and thought I would start with these beauties, and try then on here first 

1872 was the first year of the Melbourne Mint and only 748k sovereigns were produced, split between the shields and the George and dragons - rated rare in Marsh and any other coin book you care to name. Only 1883 has a lower mintage for the Melbourne Young Victoria sovereigns.

Third young filleted head left, W.W. raised on truncation for engraver William Wyon, date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, laurel wreath surrounding, die letter M below, emblems below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: weight 7.99g (Bentley 744; McDonald 120; Marsh 59; S.3854)

Really not an easy coin to source, and while these are bullion examples they are still very sought after by collectors.  In the picture of them together top left is No1, top right No2, bottom left No3 and bottom right No4.  Please feel free to request more pictures.

Not a lot in it I don't think, though number 4 catches my eye.
