Fake Panda Coin Auction on eBay

To be fair, I think the second item is sold by mistake, I seem to remember the ebay name, I think I have dealt with him in the past, he also has good Pandas for sale, he may be just as much of a victim in this case..

Like Gold Pandas, would not the 1st 30g be from 2016 so anything stating 30g before would be fake?

Yes the first 30g was in 2016, prior all 1oz, however I have even seen main dealers forget this, especially with Silver ones, I guess it could be a genuine mistake (either way) but certainly would cause alarm bells to go off, especially for a 1oz Gold 🐼

It is probably good idea to keep a panda fake thread alive as they are very popular coins and the information regarding not being in plastic after 2006 etc is very good to know

@arphethean already has a very good pictorial thread showing many of the fakes and what to look out for.

If you put the real thing alongside the fake you can see the fake is absolutely diabolical

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.
