Ancient coins - help needed

Recommended Posts

Please can I request some help!

I have no idea about any of these. I don't even know if they're all genuine to be honest.

I've also attached two pics of the way some were arranged in the album with labels.

What they are and value would be hugely appreciated if you can help, as I'm looking to sell.

I see some bronze and silver Roman coins. I would assume Denarius for the silver.

I can identify the Roman coins if you'd like the service, but it takes some time and I would need the coins in-person to do so.

There's the milled coin which I think @richatthecroft could possibly help :)

Always shipping with re-used or biodegradable packaging.

Looking to sell some items to fund a holiday. I've got some items for sale. PM me or check my profile if interested: Hitler's 3rd Reich 2 Reichsmark Coins, Roman Imperial Denarii and Other silver coins/items.

The top coin is I think, a Medieval Penny- outside of my area of knowledge but when I get home from work I’ll take a look in my books.

Thanks.

Just a side note, I'm not expecting anyone to spend hours of their time for nothing, but any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi @iacabu although I can’t lay claim to fully identifying this one- a chap called Jack Pope on Facebook advised me:

Edward I (1272-1307) Penny, London. Class 9b.  Small coins; Roman N, normal, un-barred, or usually of pot- hook form, often star or (very rarely) pellet on breast. Spink 1408

New coinage from 1279

Spink 2023 58th edition states:

F £25

VF £85

Photo of a better condition Obverse (taken from Spink).
