The 1912-S: Smallest mintage of all of the V Nickels with only 238,000 minted (accept for the 1913 where only 5 are known to exist 🤣) compared to the highest of 39,557,639 in 1911 so this coin is a rarity.

This 1912-S (San Francisco) is up for grabs for the price of £120 plus post

Seen these, but don't do graded ones. I like them to be in good condition, but also like to keep them all piled together in a silver box, silly but it's what I like with my U.S. 😁

Noob question:  on the 'Pride of two Nations' set, what's the meaning of enhanced and modified in the grading?

I was going to try and explain it myself but didn’t really make sense so I’ve found the explanations.

they are a great set not a lot like them.

enhanced reverse proof- A standard reverse proof coin is one featuring an “inverted” proof finish. The background is frosted, while the design elements are polished to a mirror-like finish, creating a magnificent contrast. This enhanced reverse proof coin has the same frosted background as a reverse proof coin, but what sets it apart are the multiple polished and frosted finishes applied to different isolated design elements. The selective polishing and frosting dramatically enhances the visual impact of the design.

modified proof finish, a dramatic combination of frosted, mirrored and meticulously etched surfaces.
