PSA: eBay vouchers from nectar points can’t be used on coin category.

Seems eBay have changed the rules with eBay vouchers created from redeeming nectar points and won’t let you apply them to purchases in the coin category anymore. 
It also seems like you don’t even accumulate points now for purchases in the coin category either.

They haven’t updated the wording on the terms yet for using the vouchers, only on the collecting points from coin category but if you try to use a voucher now on a coin it will not let you and give you a message like this:

Well that explains it. Real shame, as I’ve used hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers on coins over the years.

Also means I will buy less on eBay, as I always tried to make use of the 5 x Points offers by buying an expensive item.

Sainsburys might take a hit too!

What a ****ing Liberty! That’s all I used nectar vouchers for is coins/ bullion, I always line something up to buy around Christmas when there is the big X’s hour and get maximum points with a £300, they will lose out big time now 🤣

They have updated the terms again (it now includes coins in the list of things you can't buy with vouchers)

Thanks for this update as was wondering why I didn't get the last 5x bonus on a coin purchase. Suppose it was too good to last .

It's not only the vouchers that don't apply to the coin category, we no longer earn any Nectar points at all from coin purchases on eBay. 😞
