Just doing something with your son makes you very cool in my book.

Merry Christmas! :)

Sorry mate but I think you've lost the plot.;)

I love parody and to see someone doing something different, but I just hate rap. I mean, really, really hate it.

Nice try but for me, it was painful to listen to, sorry.

I don't know if you can call it rap, 99% off beat and out of time

Hey@sovereignsteve you da man! Art never gets appreciated by everyone but the real Alexander Hamilton on broadway was with Lin-Manuel Miranda is possibly the best ever stage production with a price per ticket when he was in the show of 64 gold bullion sovereigns per person. I have my name on the wait list for 2017 October when it opens in London and at least I know you won't be in front of me in the line. [emoji12]

Must confess I've never heard of him but there again, theatre isn't my thing and you know how much I love rap;). I especially don't like musicals.

Music is my bag, man, pretty much all genres and BTW I don't regard rap as music. I even like poetry, and, although rap could be described as such, I don't like my poetry with a pseudo-music beat.

Hope you enjoy your play (or is it a musical?)

I was referring to 'the lion king' avatar. ;)

I'm in your corner Steve. For me, the 'day the music died' was some time in the 70s.

I don't listen to much else. But then I'm an oldie.

(p.s. my first introduction to the 'rap genre' was a song by a mutual favourite of ours. Rapture : Blondie)

Funnily enough.... I just recalled a factoid from the past.

It was actually John Peel who first stumbled upon and featured the genre on his radio program.

Unfortunately, he hadn't fixed the sticky 'c' button on his typewriter, and so the legend of 'rap' was born instead. ;)

The fact he was using a typewriter doesn't help this joke :D
