AUCTION! 🔨

For auction here are three bullion half sovereigns dated 1898, 1910, and 1982 respectively.

Bullion examples but appreciable nevertheless.

Melt value on the three around £563.

Start me at £1 and bid in sensible increments.

Fully-insured Royal Mail Special Delivery to mainland UK will be included in the hammer price, regardless of what that may be.

Auction ends at precisely 2000 hours (8 PM) this evening. Bids placed after this time will be rejected, even if they are higher! 🤠

Payment via bank transfer to UK business bank account.

Thank you!

Both bids are valid as they are within the rules of the auctions.

What now?... 😂

Did I win as first in with bid 😂

This wasn't in the terms and conditions. This is a learning lesson. I should have stated joint bids would be awarded to the first placed.

So long as we resolve this in a gentlemanly fashion there's no stress.

@minionsofgold what you saying to it? 😀

It's okay @Makey1976 @DuncanWylieWilson welcome the new member and I am sure it should be more of a pleasurable thing to share the happiness. He is first in the bid and I think as a general bid rule, the first bidder wins if same bid comes in.

I quite agree with you, but I had to get your take on it first. I’ll make sure to make note of the generally accepted rule around joint bids in any future auctions.

I appreciate your courteousness.

Duncan.

Yes I think that's like a general thing in bidding
