Japan Mint 47 Prefectures.docx

Willing to swap one of these coins for any 1g carded gold bars. Would prefer Swiss or German minted bars.

I have 43 of these coins in my stock. They all have presentation boxes and COA's from the mint.

Don't know how to open this file in this post. @dicker can you help me open it please?

  • silvergaga changed the title to JAPAN MINT, numismatist, 1 oz silver, 1000 Yen, Proof coin - Swap for 1g carded gold bar?

Gordy, photos as requested. I have done 2013 Hiroshima, 2015 Nagasaki and 2016 Fukushima proofs. Hence the radioactive eh!

The obverse design of all of these coins is the snowflake crystals, moon and cherry blossoms with the 1000 yen depicting 1oz.

The front pictures are the 47 Prefectures of Japan, with the names is English.

These are some of the best silver proofs I have ever seen. They sell at £88 each, but the current price for a Japanese 2023 1oz silver proof is £132.

Hope you like them and you have a spare 1g gold bar to try it out. I swapped 17 oz 2023 brits for 1 sovereign with Kevjustkev last month and this is what gave me the idea to do this swap.

Cheers matey, didn't realise they were coloured

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

There were 100000 minted of each of the 47 Japanese Prefectures. So 47 million coins were produced in total. I have 32 of the prefectures in my set and around 11 or 12 extras.

I got them all from Italy over the last 5 years or so.
