It's importing 'admin fee' that they charge, which is often more than the duty that riles me up. PPI of the delivery world!

I will check!

😎

Regularly look in on your site and a few others but a bit like @SiCole can never find a U.K dealer and have to run the customs gauntlet of being wrongly charged import tax to satisfy my craving for these.

Its a little silly as they do have a UK following and would only grow with availability tbh. I know a fair bit about commodity codes with importing and exporting and VAT treatment for them and no EU dealer fills me with confidence.

I'd also be interested in one of these from a UK seller if any do appear.

In case you’re still waiting @SiCole and @Minted, pleasantly surprised to find them on the BBP website and no dearer than EMK without the hassle!

Thanks for the tag.  I did buy one from BBP a few weeks ago.  Great looking coin and very pleased to get one from the UK! 🙂

You may have seen my recent thread about customs issues with another gold coin I bought from EMK last week.  Currently in the process of trying to claim the VAT back.  I can't fault the service or packaging at EMK, but the amount of hassle caused by a slight error on the customs form has made me reluctant to use them again.

Can’t remember if I’ve seen the thread, but I had the same issues last time around; let’s hope BBP continue to be an outlet?

Did ask @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer as always found their service good but don’t think there was a response.

These are a private mintage through Perth mint so takes a while to filter through to the wider dealerships on the secondary market. It will be the same every year. It’s a nice coin.
