1369 (1990) 1 Azadi gold coin. Same gold content as the sovereign, but weighing in at 8.135g as it is .900 gold and 22.5mm in diameter. This Azadi Features the ornate "Ali" design on the obverse, which is much preferred by many to the Khomeini bust, which is present on Azadi coinage after 1991. 

40 years of sanctions results in the azadi being a scarce coin to find here, rarer in the west than Pahlavis.

Bump, any takers at £395 posted SD? Works out to £388.65, which is cheaper than I bought it last month when spot was lower.

£385 posted anyone? This will be withdrawn tonight as I explore other ways of moving it on. Intrinsic value is £363.85, so £16 over spot!
