Hi, some advice is appreciated.

I am moving back to the UK after 17yrs and need to figure out what i can do with the silver i own. I purchased all of it within the last 4 yrs for personal use and wondering whether it would be tax exempt.

Any advice is appreciated, thank you

Probably one for your accountant, as unhelpful as that might be. There is such a thing of Transfer of residence relief, perhaps a member has gone through this recently. It could potentially depend on what your silver is too.

i have all sorts but i have been selling away most of my bullion so i am just left with numismatics and semi but it is still quite a cumbersome amount. If i can, i want to take it all with me. But it looks like i may have to store maybe 200kg in Singapore and take the rest with me. But i was wondering if anyone knew the rules well. Otherwise i will need to call customs and excise tomorrow.
