Found treasure or junk?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, newbie to the silver scene here. I found some what I believe to be silver coins whilst cleaning the house earlier and was just wondering if they have any value and are worth holding on to and keeping in my little pouch.

A 1941 silver eagle with a hole in it I assume to use as a necklace

A 2002 Queen Elizabeth £5 Coin

About £6 melt for the 1/2 dollar, the queen mum crown is most likely cupro nickel.

A bottle of gin tucked down her knickers, and a woodbine in her socks, she was a national treasure :)

Looks like she’s just been at the gin!😁

An interesting challenge would be to try and use the UK £5 crown to pay for your fuel at Tesco (other filling stations are acceptable).

It is legal tender, but good luck!
