Royal Mint Gold Proof Wooden Packaging

I received an RM Sovereign with the bubble-wrap inside, unfortunately the capsule still separated on the underside.  There was less space for it to cause damage, but clearly the capsules are inferior to the earlier type.  Maybe they should spend a bit less on boxes, and more on protecting the coins.

Good morning, dear TSF!

I would suggest for very rare and high premium low mintage coins to be made some precious cases / boxes to justify the enormous releases prices.

For example, a sterling silver box for a silver coin and 9ct gold box for a gold coin with velour/velvet/real leather interior, hand made by a well known jewellery house.

When a new low mintage coin has the same price with a Jaguar, I'd like to know why.😊

Kindest regards,

Stefan.
