Good question, maybe the chemicals they use now ?

I have the same question as well about why no milk spots in pre decimal coins...maybe chemicals are one of the reasons...the more chemical using in production, the more harmful to the coin and to the world as well

I bought 5x 2020 1oz mandelorians, a year later only one is clear, the rest are hideous, I'm genuinely embarrased to sell on TSF. Pesky mysterious chemicals.

So are we just agreeing it's a risk and buyer beware? Are we saying get 925 scrap or face consequences? Sad

Can always get them melted down into something nice ( I know you shouldn't have too but it's an option)

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

That's just teriible, I have some also, almost afraid of going to look to them now ...

And this are not the cheap BU coins but the higher premium coins ...

Must say that junk ( 90% ) silver is for me starting to be a better choice, low premiums and not all those problems.

Gold is is for me also getting more appealing with each day ...

That's true but you don't buy expensive high premium silver coins for the melting pot ...

Another Mint on the milkspot list ...
