Hello all

i got interested in silver bullion (+ semi numismatic) just a few weeks ago, have been watching youtube videos and reading up every spare moment I have, and can already tell this newfound interest is going to burn a hole in my savings account :-)

Got my first order in this week; 25 maples and a whole bunch of single 1oz silvers just to get a feel of it all. Planning on my first gold purchase next week too!

What I do find frustrating though is that I can't seem to find any physical store, in Belgium at least, I can drive to and just see everything (or a lot of) that is available to do some browsing and purchasing right then and there... A lot of things I find interesting (like the Zombucks or other private minted lines) seem to be available only on US stores which, seeing the customs we get charged over here in .be, are out of the question for me to order from :-(

Any tips from other Europeans here where the best places are to get a good offering of what is on the market?

Welcome, in the UK we have Goldsilver in Belgium as currently being the cheapest silver for us to buy with the VAT consideration, our only gripe with them is they are using Yodel to deliver to the Uk who are not the best.

  1. You have to buy within the eu to mitigate vat, out with you will be hit for extra taxes and handling costs. Keep an eye on silver  forums for sales. If you buy from here, no probs with established members. if you buy a few ounces from a private sellers outwith the EU,you will probably get away with no vat etc. make sure you are dealing withal trusted seller however.
  2. Hi  and welcome.
  3. dont know why It has gone onto selected bullet points.
  4. Gold is at a (relatively) high price currently. You may want to consider buying fractional coins if not doing so already to avoid thr dreaded gold fever. Enjoy your stacking whatever route you take. I feel you can only benefit from putting your cash into precious metals or other hard assists in these times of money printing and central bank shenanigans.

Welcome to the forum!

Look at dealers in Germany - they have a vast selection and it will limit any vat/tax liability.
