Australia 1oz Lunar series 2 Desiribility

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Somebody has already answered this, but I can't find the post.

I'm in the midst of a deal with somebody, they have all the series 2 lunar 1oz BU's and I have been given a choice of a couple of them.

Which do I go for to maximise the deal in my favour?

I was thinking dragon and tiger?

Tiger

Ox

mouse

I think those are the 3 most valuable ones in order? But I am unsure.

Thanks for the quick reply Chris.

I have the option of two, so if anybody can confirm that the tiger and ox are the most desirable then I'll push the button on them.

Cheers

Tiger and ox in that order are the most valuable, the rest are similar give or take a couple of pounds.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

I think they were £18 each when Atkinsons got them in 2nd hand with no VAT.  They were all gone within an hour.

I did think about sticking some on ebay to cover my purchase but I'd have to break into the roll.

Dragons go for the most though don't they?

Hi MB (I have got around to joining at last)

Since these were my coins.. feels a bit weird advising, however myself and Dan have sorted this deal out.

My list would be..

Tiger

Dragon and Ox =

Rabbit

Mouse

Snake

Horse

For future potential well after the series ends I would hazard a guess:

Dragon+Tiger (Always desirable for our Chinese friends)

Rabbit+Horse (People like cuddly/sweet things!!)

Mouse +Ox (Due to no Privvy bastardisation in these years)

Monkey

Dog/Goat/Snake/Rooster

Pig

All in MHO

Dave

Like everything Dave its all an opiniion but currently if you look at ebay achieved prices tiger and ox make the most at the moment, dragon dropped through the floor 6-9months ago due to as you so nicely put it bastardisation  with privy, but it is recovering now.

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

Well I hope that is the case.. I purchase all the Ox I could get my hands on when Atkinsons had their sale, as mentioned above, would balance out the Dragon fiasco that cost me a lot of money!!!

Cheers MB

Regards

Dave
