Welcome aboard, similar situation here... I decided to stack/collect for the kids and after the usual browsing and watching on YouTube ended up joining.

I'm still to sign up as a premium member, I'm focusing on familiarising myself with the site, looking at which direction to proceed etc.

There are plenty of deals to be had from a great number of members and the cost more than covers itself vs. savings you'll make compared to buying elsewhere.

If I want to buy/sell with other forum members in my locality, do I have to become a premium member? Or do people generally organise deals on the forum regardless of their subscription level?

Just look on the buy/sell section and click on UK only and you will see sales and wanted's etc on there and its all done by initial reply to the relevant thread then private message where payment and postage details are exchanged.. straight forward really and all based on trust but the members on here are serious about their own personal reputation and pride themselves on being genuine.. in my experience so far anyway.... its a good forum to be in...
