thank you. I have a few goals here, the first is to learn as much as possible about using silver/gold as a saving fund with an 18-21 year timespan for my newborn son.

The second is to learn how to sell it all at the end so he can put a deposit down on a house/buy a car etc.

I'm thinking 5 - 10 oz a month of silver or equivilant value in gold over that period will hopefully provide a good launch pad after university or what ever he decides to do.

So really I need to learn which coins are wisest to buy.

So far I have a couple of 10 oz queens beasts and brittanias. And then a selection of others I got because they were pretty. Its quite an addictive thing and I don't know if buying coins because they are attractive on the spur of the moment is a bad idea or not. I know all about the capital gains implications etc.

welcome to the forum. Beware of the virus (the gold and silver virus). Before you know it you caught it and you will be in quarantine for weeks on end staring at the for sale section to pick up gems for your ever growing treasure chest.....
