Royal Mint Chocolate - Not Even Mint!

Recommended Posts

The Royal Mint's latest offer -

Chocolate

A pack of 3 chocolate bars, which are supposed to look like gold bars (I think), but don't.

189 grams of chocolate for £29.99, works out at £158.68 per kilo!

Royal Mint Chocolate - Not Even Mint State

I do like good chocolate, but I think I will stick to Godiva, Hotel Chocolat, Montezuma, Green & Blacks, Francois Pralus, Valhrona, etc. Most of these top brands range from under £20 to about £50 per kilo.
The RM stuff is not even Mint State!

Chards

"Should we work on our quality control insuring we don't continue to send out damaged/marked coins?

"Hmm we could do, but i'd prefer to spend the money on launching a new chocolate bar"

Great leadership at the Royal Mint :D

And if the quality control on the chocolate is the same as the coins, who's willing to eat them first?

"To get to where I need to be, I start by walking away from where I am."
