Dealer can't get my Mortimer coins, wants to sub (kooks or Maple?)

Hey gang, my dealer that I purchase 120oz of 2oz White Lion of Mortimer says that they can't get the coins I ordered 3 months ago. They want me to substitute it. What is the best coin to select? I was given a choice of 2oz Kookabura ( I assume it will be the 2020 version), 1oz Kangaroos. I asked for Maple 1oz 2020 and they were agreeable. I figured the Maples were the highest premium of the bunch. I see that older Kookaburas demand a vastly higher premium though, might be worth more if I hold it longer term.

Have I made the best choice?

Substitution is oz for oz. I think the Kookaburas are 2020 Piedfort editions. I don't think there is the regular  2oz 2020 coin as in the regular 1oz Kook collections?

Check their terms & conditions to see if you can get your money refunded. That's what I would do.

I bought the coins at the low back in March. So it wouldn't be a good idea for me to get my money back no? Prices are much higher now.

The substitute is oz for oz.

They will attempt to sell you lesser quality coins, no doubt to make up the difference in the cost that they are buying them at today's prices.

If he gets his money back he won’t be able buy silver now at the price he locked in in March.  The White Lions are gone, no longer an option - it sucks but he can still get silver cheaper than anyone else can right now.

White Lions are going for $50.58 or $25.29 per Oz (at silvergoldbull.ca in 50+ qty).

Silver maple at Sprott are $25.30.

2020 2oz Kookaburas are $46.32 (JM Bullion) ($47.86 at Bold) No stock anywhere. 2oz Lunar pigs from Perth mint are$48.54 (50+ qty) or $24.27 per oz.

I don't know about milk spots, do they affect sale prices? Also I wonder if the Kooks will appreciate in premium as it gets older. The older 1oz Kooks are all going for much more (except the 2019s).

I paid C$50.4, converted to US$ today it is US37.13 or $18.56 per oz.

So you either get your money back and buy White Lions at $25.30 per ounce from elsewhere or you take something from them now for $18.56 per oz.

Are the White Lions likely to increase in premium enough to make up the difference?

Personally I think I’d be taking the Kooks now at the lower price but I’m no expert.

I saw some thread on this forum, the British mint Beast edition (at the least) are actually are not that great in quality. Many end up being just bullion due to minting imprecision.

They are letting me choose oz for oz. This is from Sprott, I don't see that they have anything on display other than American Eagles, Maples. I doubt they will let me choose Canadian wildlife editions which are much higher premiums.
