"As of 31 July 2019, Fort Knox holds 147.34 million troy ounces (4,583 metric tons) of gold reserves with a market value of US $210.8 billion, representing 56.35% of the gold reserves of the United States. As of 2017, the U.S. gold reserves of 8,133.5 metric tons was nearly as much as the next three countries combined."

So double it to a market value to $422 Billion. The debt significantly outweighs the current gold value. €422Billion into $24Trillion goes how many times (a Trillion being 1000 Billion). I believe it’s 56 times. So that gives us a gold price of $89,600 just to cancel out the current US debt (never mind having any US Dollars in reserve for a future Fiat Dollar). Assuming a 10% gold backed Fiat Dollar, we are still looking at $8,960 an oz minimum.

Every country will need to do a similar calculation on their debt vs gold reserves and then the world would need to agree on a final “price”. Then do they decide on a world currency to even the playing field or does a big Govt like Russia or China come out and say, surprise we have even more gold than you thought (and hope the world agrees to be backed by their currency instead)?? Maybe two countries will join forces and release an Eastern Currency (Russia and China combined with their Silk Road friends).

Or will the USA default honestly and keep their gold as is and see what price the world comes up with?

Could be interesting 🤔

So, the Swiss have it then, not the Germans. By the way, not all Nazis were Germans and not all Germans were Nazis (confused?).

It may be sitting in Swiss banks but that doesnt equate to Swiss ownership

If we are talking about gold held by the public then I would love to know how much gold is in public hands in India. This is a country that has been collecting gold for over 3000 years and is an inherent part of their culture. As an example this makes an interesting read.

How many temples are there in India........thousands (though they are not all filled to the brim with gold......or maybe they are)!!!!!

If a Govt had 1oz of gold but had debt the equivalent of 2oz gold. Doesn’t that make the Govt/Country officially bankrupt?

If an individual has 1oz of gold and no debt. Could that make them richer than a country?

Perhaps this is why the US won’t audit the FED. How much is all the USAs stated gold amount worth in Dollars???

I cant remember the total debt position of the planet but I think its nearly $150trillion. Its all a cult of control as we know. Breaking the cult would put the gold price into space.
