We are back... Apologies for the down time. I had to hire an emergency developer to have a look.

Long story short, due to the massive size of the forum and the database, it is going to need extensive optimisation. We will get this sorted, but may take some time. In the meantime the error may unfortunately pop back again, (if you notice it please contact me ASAP so I can get someone right on it, contact email chris@thesilverforum.com)

In the meantime to avoid any issues during any temporary spikes in traffic, I am going to increase the resources on the server to avoid this from happening again, this is just a temp solution until the database can be extensively optimised.

Good news is that we are back  sorry again to anyone who tried to get online earlier and had issues, and thank you to @Oldun, @wolfiemac, @Bxlsteve, @AurumArgenti, @Marc and anyone else who emailed/messaged me about the error.

CPU Cores upgraded, RAM I am not sure if needs upgrading, as right now only using 24% of RAM but I have set the RAM to automatically increase should it hit 75%. SSD upgraded to allow extra breathing room.

I will also keep a close eye on the server stats now, and we will increase all resources well before they are needed.
