New friends online feature

I have added a new feature for all. There is now a notification friends icon, next to the private mail notification. This friends online notification will show you how many of your friends are online, and will allow for easy private messaging of your friends.

To add a friend visit their profile page and click 'add me as a friend'

This drop down currently displays up to 10 of your online friends. All online friends can be viewed by clicking the view all.

I was going to add this as a Premium Member only feature, but I thought it was best for everyone to benefit from this feature.

I don't see when I would need to know who is online and what they're doing

 

I just got notified someone is viewing the community index for example  I don't know why I need to be notified of that lol

Thats not a notification. The number refers to how many of your friends are online. But it is quite distracting, and does seem like a notification I agree. So I am going to change this number to blue.

I think its useful for people who communicate regularly with others on the forum.
