Anyone know where to buy capsules for a 10oz silver Maple? 77mm diameter 7.5mm thick or somewhere close.
I’m in two minds whether to go for the Maple or the Valliant. The Valliant comes with a capsule…………… but I prefer the Maple.

I have all three years of the 10oz maples and they all came in a capsule. A very tight and hard to remove capsule at that.

Never bought from them, but when i buy 10oz coins from german dealers they always come in capsules.

I’ll have to cast the net wider, although for the sake of a capsule I’d rather not buy outside the UK.

10oz coins will come pre-encapsulated 👍   It might just be an oversight on Atkinson's part or typo on their website if it says that they don't come in capsules 🙂

You will struggle to find an aftermarket one for these bud. I have had 77mm coins and never manged to find one.

The 10 oz Maples are 76.2 mm, so an Air-Tite Z10 Direct Fit capsule (76.8 mm) should work for it. I've linked to an ebay auction here for reference.

How odd. I wonder what they did with them since I thought they came encapsulated from the Royal Canadian Mint. Seems a bizarre decision to remove them from capsules before selling on.

I’ve answered my own question, a 10oz arrived this morning from European Mint complete with capsule.

What Atkinson’s are playing at, I don’t know.
