I'm not sure about this one, it looks like something that has been designed with the "cheapest bullion coin available" title in mind.

Not.a.bit. Beautiful coin. 4 things i like about it -

1. Incused lettering (i'm a sucker for anything incused)

2. The figure is raised and polished.

3. The frosted rippling background.

4. A subtle design, very artistic. Reminds me for some reason of a Louis Le Brocquy.

I think it's a nice looking coin. My 7yr old likes it too so it must have little girl appeal, but in all seriousness I think this is more of a fun, artsy coin and not a serious coin like the mean guy head coins of the world.
