Afternoon all. 
Just joined so thought I would say hello. Recently joined stackers social and started my stacking journey. 
 
First dip into this was 5 x 2022 brittanias, 2 x 1g brittania gold bars and 2 x full sovereigns. 
 
Looking forward to speaking with like minded people and growing my stack from this community.

OK..I will try and answer. 
First look into getting a membership (  even if only for a couple months ) it shows commitment on your part and gives full access to the forum. 
Don't sweat the postage or insurance, use royal mail special delivery- fully insured for £10-£11 ..buyer pays this anyway, not you.
Yes it's possible someone in London may want your items and be up for meeting in person ( no harm in this ) but it will still likely be a bank transfer after coin is seen... with all due respect, you could be anybody and floating round London with pockets of cash isn't the brightest idea for the buyer. 
This is why I'm saying don't sweat postage, now because you're new you will have/be expected to post coin first to established members,,or use @BackyardBullion intermediary service for a small fee ( he does the selling on your behalf after authentication of items) you get paid before items are then sent on to buyers.

This was my first Christmas draw and would like to thank @trp for all the time and effort put into this, it's been great fun, next @AndrewSL76 for his lovely and most welcome gift received this morning, since been pm'd, then we have @NGMD who is still patiently awaiting my gift to him, I broke my leg about 2 weeks ago and it's been a bit of a nightmare unfortunately I am on nil weight bearing and means I cannot get down to the marina to access my stash on my boat, you have been very understanding and I really appreciate that, it will get to you!, finally and by no means least, to all on TSF, in the 18 months (I think) that I have been a member I have thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt an awful lot, I genuinely believe without this information and advice I would not have the confidence I now have in shiny bits of metal!

Hi everyone. I recently joined as started getting in to buying (and selling) gold and silver. Initially was to just try and convert some of my savings to bullion but have also started to appreciate the collecting aspect as well. I saw this forum mentioned in Backyard Bullion's videos and thought it'd be good to join as a bit overwhelming trying to find out where to buy and sell for small time people like myself   🙂

I just joined the Forum, but I've been lurking here for a few weeks now. I am completely new to gold and coins, I am still learning, I am changing my saving strategy for gold and silver, but I have already made my first purchases on other sites.
