Surprised to receive a text from DHL saying that my RMB parcel was going to be delivered today.  The text yesterday said Monday.  They're probably working a 6 day week to keep on top of things.
Came in the usual RM capsule.  Seems in good nick.  Few specs of dirt which I've now removed and rehoused in an air-tite so that it can go in an album with the rest.

I wen't a little mad with my angel obsession and picked up a large run of the 1/20 proofs with xmas privys. Incredibly hard to get at only 1,000 minted each. Can't wait to get a complete run of these but i fear it'll be many years before i get there

First Krugs I've ever held......must say that even allowing for the couple of gram weight difference, these 'feel' a lot more substantial than Brits.
I think I might stick with stacking Krugs from now on, as long as I can stop the terrible South African accent when handling them  and I keep breaking into the Spitting Image song

I just bought five silver 2ounce Beasts for £224.51 from Silvertrader, cheaper than STG who are £215 plus £13.95 postage, its not always cheaper to buy VAT free when you factor in the postage !

After all my modern malarky adventures into modern silver semi numismatics, I had to get back to full numismatics. I used the excuse of going to get a recently purchased silver beast graded and Popped off to my local numismatic only shop and got an 1832 sovereign. They know me so gave me a 10% discount. I dragged my sleeping baby along as well......I am shameless Felt good to be back in gold numismatic sovs again and not guessing. Second bust type fyi.

My first Shield thanks to Numistacker

Taking my first look in hand ( they just growled in the door) at what will partner my incoming pair of 1/4oz beasts. Design of the lion beast is smashing. The size and everything else is pretty ordinary to be honest in my opinion. They do not look or feel like coins. But they will always be displayed beast side up and that side looks good. 
 

Dutch 5 Guilder from Atkinsons.

Today I received a Falkland Islands gold 1/25 Crown. It's in surprisingly nice condition and the detail for such a tiny coin is excellent. Not sure if these were Royal Mint?
 

Picked up my deliveries in the US...here is the silver first. 
A pair of 10 oz Scottsdale Reserve bars; five Scottsdale 1 oz rounds (love the design!); a haul of proof 2016 Libertads; a pair of silver 2011 IOM Nobles (still wondering if they were made in any other year?); some Morgans, and two tubes of silver Queens Beast lions, the better ones I have put into the AirTite deep caps, the rest just kept in the RM tube. And finally a slabbed 2014 1 ounce Britannia proof.  
Have a few other goodies for some fellow Forum members as well.

Umicore 250g from Helpinghands

I was getting really concerned with this order.  Pickup up on Saturday no further tracking details.  I would have expected something yesterday when it reached the depot.  This morning I checked Parcel Force and to my relief it showed as having arrived in the UK last night at 7pm and has now just been delivered.  Panic over.
Missing the 2oz as there was a 10 day or so lead time so have ordered that with another dealer along with some other bits.
