I was meaning the Sydney 1884. I was going on how rubbed the faces of the lions were in the shield on the reverse - this is one detail that tends to go first.

My guess is that the 1884 is the MS64, and the 1872 is the MS61.

I don't think it does look like your example! When you look at the magnified picture, to me, it seems that the bottom of the letter are flat unlike yours were there is an indent in the feet of the letters. Also the shape of the nose looks to be different.
